At Clarks Landing Yacht Club, we are proud to be part of our couples’ love stories, helping them create unforgettable moments. Sarah and Justin’s elegant New Year’s Eve wedding is one we’ll always cherish. Featured recently in New Jersey Bride, their story is a beautiful testament to love, faith, and the importance of family.
On December 31, 2023, we had the honor of hosting Sarah and Justin’s wedding celebration. Surrounded by 160 of their closest family and friends, the day was filled with warmth, elegance, and a true sense of faith. The couple knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding day—to be surrounded by the people they love. What better day to celebrate than New Year’s Eve?
The ceremony took place in our indoor ceremony room, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for stunning nighttime views of the water. The moment Sarah walked down the aisle, you could see the love and sincerity in Justin’s eyes. It was a truly heartfelt moment, one that set the tone for the rest of the day.
To make the ceremony even more special, Sarah’s Uncle Tooph officiated, leading a beautiful, faith-based ceremony. Their unique touch included adding a wooden cross, florals, and candles to our ceremony space, and personalizing the setting in a meaningful way.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to an extended cocktail hour, featuring a Deluxe Selection of Hors d’Oeuvres, a Sushi & Sake Bar, Ocean’s Harvest Seafood Bar, an International Wine & Cheese Pairing, a Mediterranean Display, Taco Cantina Bar, a Italian Salumeria & Antipasto, and Fresh Fruit & Gourmet Vegetable Displays—just to name a few! Sarah and Justin also customized their cocktail hour with a Martini Luge, shaped like a Times Square Ball, adding both a festive and interactive touch to the evening.
As the evening continued, the couple extended their reception so they could ring in the new year with all their loved ones. One of the most moving moments of the reception was a surprise performance by two of their favorite worship singers, Michelle Schorp and Jordan McCullough, arranged by Sarah’s parents. The heartfelt mashup of songs left everyone in awe and was a moment the couple will never forget.
To cap off the evening, they offered a Paw Bar To Go station for their guests’ furry friends waiting at home, as well as a Jersey Shore To Go station to send their guests home well-fed and happy!
The personal touches and attention to detail throughout the day made it a night to remember—for Sarah, Justin, and their guests. Every element reflected their love, the faith they share, and the strong bond of family.
